COVID-19 UPDATE: Today is our first Sunday of worshiping together since the middle of March. We are so glad to be able to worship together this morning! Please be patient with the new protocols and expect a few snags. We think we have the sound issues resolved so those of you watching live stream, let us know how it is.

SIGNING UP to attend worship is one of the new protocols. If you would like to sign up, please click the link on our website. The page is refreshed each Monday. You can also call the church office and we will get you signed up. If all the slots are filled there will be a waiting list to sign up.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Governor Walz’s latest update was not what we were hoping to hear. Minnesota North and Minnesota South Districts along with other church bodies in the state have issued a statement with intent that their congregations can start meeting in person beginning May 31. You can read the letter and proposed protocols on our website. Your input and comments are greatly appreciated. Please email (click the contact us link on our website) or call and let us know your thoughts. The Parish Planning Council is scheduled to meet May 26 to discuss options.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Following Governor Walz’s latest update, we’re hoping to start modified worship services on June 7. Please watch your email, mailbox and our website for updates. Services are still being streamed. You can access them through Face Book or our website.

CHURCH YARD CLEAN UP: A big thanks to the Uvin family and Tim Huwe. They did a great job and knocked several things off the church clean up list. Check the website for a list of jobs that still need to be done. If you pick one and do it please initial the check list located inside the front door so we know it’s taken care of. Thanks for helping us get the church yard looking great!

HELP CLEAN UP GREENWOOD CEMETERY: Last year the LLL helped clean up the grounds at Greenwood Cemetery. They’ve been invited to do it again this year. If you would like to help rake, weed whip and otherwise clean up, please email Dave Vik at dvik@unitelc.com or call the church office (732-9783) to sign up. The dates for clean up are Wednesday and Thursday, May 20 and 21. Dave will let you know details and times. We will practice social distancing and use masks if necessary.

ASCENSION is Thursday, May 21. We will not have a regular Ascension service this year. Instead our pastors along with Pastor Davis from First English will record a service which will be available on our website or you can request a DVD of the service.
